new game for pc 2023

Description

hey everyone welcome back to our monthly overview of the best looking upcoming games this one for October things are kicking into high gear now we're getting into that time of year it looks like we might have a few bangers on this list fingers crossed as always um I've tried to keep things nice and varied including a mix of genres and games we got a new Battle Royale couple story based adventure games and open world action RPG a new Blizzard game Activision's yearly Flagship FPS also there's a tarkov like launching this month that seems pretty neat I'll be diving into those seven games on the main list and also briefly touching on a handful of honorable mentions that look good but didn't quite make the cut before we jump in let's get a word from today's sponsor today's video is sponsored by Conan Exiles the online multiplayer survival game set in the lands of Conan the Barbarian the game recently had a major free update called age of sorcery which adds a ton of new content there is the inclusion of sorcery this new dark magic that can be cast at the cost of health and stamina letting you do things like summoned demonic and Undead followers vanished from sight and even conjured Darkness or storms at will they've expanded character specialization with rebalanced attribute points and players can now choose perks letting them specialize further building received a complete.

overhaul with a new dedicated interface and there's now creative mode that allows players to focus on Building without material or movement restrictions so if you are interested in checking out Conan Exiles and trying age of sorcery update for yourself you can learn more by using the link in the description below alright let's go ahead and jump into the list kicking things off is  the dare I call it a sequel of actually no functionally this is an update and overhaul of the original game we even learned a while back that it will be fully replacing the game as in when  launches 1 will no longer exist it is just gone in terms of what is new the game will be getting the following changes it's becoming a free-to-play live service title so there will be no more box price as such and now also has C Seasons these will be free updates that come every nine weeks adding new content season one is already laid out it will include three new heroes six new maps a new game mode and over 30 skins because of course their skins subsequent seasons will have quite a bit less content as a lot of this stuff is front loaded for 2's release so for example season 2 will be adding one new hero one new map but of course more skins as for the gameplay changes PVP has shifted from six for six down to five versus five with this they've also reworked many of the heroes to freshen things up a bit but also to balance around there being one less person per team they've removed loot boxes great positive change so there will be no more spending on a random chance to get a skin instead you'll be able to purchase them directly from the in-game shop maybe a negative aspect to this is yeah if the survey blizzard sent out is any indication skins could go for as high as 45 dollars each we'll see where this ends up falling for the full release though oh and speaking of monetization along with the new season sins there will of course be a battle pass which you will level by playing the game or by paying to skip tracks unlocking various rewards and cosmetics along the way now as for the PVE experience.

which was like the major selling point for  when this thing was first announced well as of now we don't actually know when this is going to happen we don't have a official release date unfortunately it'll be coming at some point in 2023 we'll just have to wait and see hopefully we find out soon I suspect overall that  2 will do pretty well there is almost certainly a large enough amount of people a lot of people are gonna try this there's no doubt I think it will actually be incredibly successful on consoles although I have to say that personally I don't feel nearly the same excitement around the sequel as I did the original release just doesn't feel fresh enough and make me want to check it out however once the PVE stuff drops that is another story I'm far more interested in that because it does feel new and fresh and I would like to try it  will be launching on October 4th coming to PC  Xbox and switch and again it is free to play Super people is a brand new Battle Royale that's pretty much a mix of Pub G with a hero shooter much of how the game looks visually is reminiscent of Pub G just maybe a bit brighter and more colorful but then also nearly everything else about the game like character movement  even how you jump through Windows inventory management the healing the gun play the circle and other Battle Royale.

mechanics are all very very similar so much of the game just feels like Pub G except you play as a super soldier with a mix of like this future and Magic based technology so this is a class-based battle royale every class has their own unique skills and abilities when you load into the game you're given a one of 12 of the games available classes you can then spend some gold coins to change your class either 100 for a random class or 500 to pick your class and you will get this gold by playing the game classes will have their own unique flavor their weapon traits and their own for example there's The Gatlin soldier who has the Spitfire ultimate increasing his mag capacity of his Gatling gun and giving them Explosive Rounds the shotgun Master can get a tank shotgun where rounds become as lethal as a tank their Strike Force which gets a dash ultimate increasing moving speed by 200 for five seconds and there are 12 of these available classes one of the classes abilities is to summon in like a Jeep so very interesting ideas here so it's got match based progression as well you will unlock new abilities and your ultimate as you play you in fact build up the ultimate charge throughout the course of the match doing things like surviving taking out enemies or collecting special resources will give you XP as you level up you unlock new stuff eventually getting your alt the more active you are the better you are the more you survive the quicker you get this stuff there's also besides collecting loot like in other br's like finding weapons and consumables it also has a system of super capsules red green and blue each of these line up with one of your special traits or abilities and collecting the those colored capsules will level up that corresponding skill there's also level up leveling up giving you boost to your stats like increasing your health and damage and the game has a on-the-go in-game crafting system whereby collecting resources you can make any of the available weapons items and armor to the point where you shouldn't really if you're active feel like you are out geared come end game it's just more about playing uh consistently and collecting the stuff because if so you'll be able to make what you need so this game has gone through several rounds of beta testing over the past year and is now officially entering steam Early Access.

with the Early Access release they have said quote we will be especially focusing on balance between classes ttk and in-game Economy based on the data we've collected optimization and security are also one of our top priorities beyond that they're adding a brand new game mode as well as a new class super people enters steam Early Access on October 11th the game is free to play and will of course have plenty of micro transactions a plague tale Requiem is the sequel to 2019's plague tale innocence the game looks to be taking what made the original so successful and it was and they hope to build upon it from the visuals the storytelling the level design and world to its gameplay and mechanics everything looks to have been improved I say that because I played the game myself a couple of weeks back for several hours and came away pretty impressed honestly I made a video All About The Experience if you want to check it out but let me sum it up for you here so the story takes place six months after the first game amicia and Hugo who are the two main characters have left their home headed out for a new life but things don't go as planned and they're surrounded by enemy soldiers and this overwhelming swarm of rats it is a narrative driven Adventure game so you're spending your time moving through the world with gameplay woven in between the story generally it'll look something like this you come to some location based on where you are in the world you'll maybe speak to some NPCs or something will happen you'll watch a cut scene and then oh no there's danger and you either have to hide run or fight before moving on to the next uh in terms of the gameplay it's a stealth title through and through you spend most of your time doing a mix of navigating the environment solving puzzles and some light combat a much of your time will be spent like hiding behind objects or concealing yourself in Grass staying in the shadows as you survey the area and plan your course of action whether that means sneaking around the enemies utilizing objects in the environment or taking them out at close or at range you'll use a lot of range actually that is the primary method of dealing with things I found and for the most part um the gameplay is in service of the story this isn't like a high octane non-stop action sort of game no you're playing through and experiencing the world and its story The Evolution of thes.

characters and the things that they're going through that is this kind of game and to that end I think they've done a fantastic job based on what I've seen I've really enjoyed my time with it if you like narrative focused Adventures this is absolutely one to keep an eye on that said it did have quite a few performance issues in the build that I played chugging on a fairly regular their basis and I have a pretty beefy PC so hopefully this is something that they can fix by the time this game releases a Requiem Launches on October 18th it is coming to PC PlayStation and Xbox for 49.99 the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves collection is a bundle that includes Naughty Dogs critically acclaimed single-player stories from both Uncharted 4 a thief's end and Uncharted the Lost Legacy these are essentially beefed up enhanced versions of both of those games finally making its way to PC The Collection comes with multiple modes and PC Centric enhancements such as improved UI the addition of scale sliders GPU and  detection they've also added Auto pause variable load speed support and a bunch of other stuff bunch of things for you to tweak and play around with um so this collection actually launched on PS5 earlier in the year and reviews were pretty good as it is basically those games but better like I said it's also finally now coming to PC this month that's why this is on the list and it's because because mainly I'm happy to see that Sony is finally bringing some of their best big budget titles over to the PC platform even if it takes them a while I'm glad we're finally getting these games here however.

unfortunately just like with the recent remake of Last of Us the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves collection is notably missing the game's multiplayer modes and this is a bummer at least like with the last of us they had the excuse of also working on a standalone multiplayer game in that Universe there's gonna be a Last of Us multiplayer title on its own two feet far as I know there is no such thing for  multiplayer coming they just didn't feel like including it in this bundle they didn't feel like upgrading those multiplayer modes and I know that multiplayer isn't the main selling point of The Last of Us or of Uncharted but both of them did have dedicated fan bases so for those people it's a shame that they just decided to leave them out of thesethat's that's it really but if you're primarily a PC Gamer and you never got the chance to play either of the Uncharted games now is your chance the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection comes to PC via Steam on October 19th for 49.99 Gotham Knights is an open world action RPG set in what the developer is calling the most dynamic interactive Gotham City ever playing as either Red Hood Robin Batgirl or you will go out exploring Gotham beating up bad guys completing objectives and side missions and doing a lot of what you do in other open World Games the city is divided into five distinct Burrows each with their own problems to be dealt with full of enemies and activities there's all sorts of events to tackle like Mr Freeze is.

controlling the weather and attempting to ice everything over in one burrow or there might be a gang of Vigilantes hacking the city's infrastructure in another there's even vehicles to ride letting you move through Gotham quicker there's also just a ton of traversal options as you're able to climb most buildings and use grapple hooks gliding dashing and even teleports to zip around combat is in the Batman Arkham styling often referred to as free flow combat it's focused mostly on melee brawling as you juggle multiple enemies at once besides the basics of attacking and blocking you'll also have an array of special abilities unique skills and fighting styles for each of the four playable characters Gotham Knights also has a lot of RPG progression systems there's going to be a home base where you can pick up quests craft and upgrade your gear talk to the different characters there's a full-on gearing system pieces that will have different stats Rarities and mod slots and the game can be played solo but will also support full Co-op play with one other player it's surprising that with four characters in this game they're not doing four player co-op must have been too hard technically that's my only assumption for the most part I do like what I've seen although I should note that there has been a bit of backlash surrounding this game people seem not too happy with a few things for one how it compares to the original Batman Arkham series but then also the developers particular take on each of these characters my only real big concern is if the game plays and performs well some of the footage they've released looked not so amazing on both those fronts which is a concern but I feel like the recent footage has looked a lot better performance and gameplay wise and nevertheless I love the concept open world Gotham game with four unique Heroes to play as if they can pull it off sounds pretty good Gotham Knights is launching on October 25th coming to PC Playstation Xbox for 59.99 Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is the next yearly installment in the series of course it says to be introducing state-of-the-art gameplay Innovations as they always do this one includes all new gun handling Advanced Ai and new gunsmith and a suite of other gameplay and graphical improvements it's got a single player campaign that will be taking us on a globetrotting conflict featuring The that's a funny thing to just throw out that's a globetrotting conflict featuring The Return of Task Force 141 the game will also be launching with the much loved Cooperative spec ops mode I played a ton of this in the early Cod days and really really enjoyed it and of course competitive multiplayer that's like the staple the backbone but for me what's most interesting is Modern Warfare Fair 2's update to Warzone the Battle Royale spin-off .

it's going to be getting a brand new play space and a sandbox mode and they've said that we can expect a bunch of free content post launch new maps modes seasonal events Community celebrations and more this is Call of Duty you pretty much know what to expect here I don't have a lot to say there will be some new bells and whistles so a few mechanical changes new locations maps and weapons but yeah it's called for better or worse if you like Call of Duty here's another one if you don't this probably won't change that although the most that I've enjoyed this series in recent years was with that initial launch of Warzone and I was really into it I played it just about every single day for several months straight it was a really fun time I am curious to see if these updates to Modern Warfare 2 and how that changes.

Warzone could potentially pull me back in I guess we'll see Modern Warfare 2 Launches on October 28th coming to PC PlayStation and Xbox for 69.99 the new AAA base price so looking like it and then finally on our main list is Marauders a tactical first person multiplayer looter shooter but to be precise this is sci-fi Space tarkov the game is structured around the exact same extraction based Loop go into a location search for Loot and try to get out alive do so you keep what you find die you lose everything Marauders however does have its own distinct look and setting you're playing as a space pirate in this alternate reality where humanity is traveling the Stars basically using 1940s Tech the tech the Weaponry all based around those that were seen in the Great War matches begin with you piloting your own spaceship you'll fly around this big open space until you reach a station which you then dock go in and begin raiding for loot the stations will range in size and type from small to fairly sprawling with tons of rooms and corridors to explore a mixture of small and open spaces and you just go from room to room looking for weapons gear other items while fending off enemy AI as well as other real players much of the gear and weapons you find like I mentioned are all based around those 1940s time period but with a Sci-Fi twist because after all you are in space there's a layer of persistence with you keeping the loot you successfully extract and then deciding what to take with you into the next round again very tarkov-

like it is that gameplay Loop there's also account wide progression and vendors to buy and sell gear from and then there's that extra layer of spaceships like I say you fly these around they're customizable you can change the weaponry and defenses and there's actual space combat like you will shoot from your ship engaging with other Pirate players flying around and then you can even leave your ship and try to board theirs and steal it if you take out the enemy player and get away with their ship through the exit It's Your Ship now it's really really cool pretty straightforward overall uh it looks to be the next in what is likely many years of games that take a crack at the tarkov extraction formula there's a few of these lined up on the horizon and I actually really enjoy it I briefly played the beta test of marauders earlier in the year overall I thought it was cool the controls felt a little clunky but I liked pretty much everything else and I'm really hoping that they can tighten it all up for the upcoming launch Marauders is set to release on PC via Steam for thirty dollars this will be happening sometime in October no specific day has been set as of this recording okay so that is the main list but of course honorable mentions other games worth keeping an eye on include a stericos curse of these Stars this is a souls-like action RPG inspired by Greco-Roman mythology but with a bright colorful look this actually reminds me a lot of ubisoft's Phoenix open world game this almost feels as well like a baby's first Souls game and that might sound dismissive I I mean it in a good way it does seem pretty cool honestly this will be launching on October 11th fueled up is a couch Co-op spaceship recovery game think overcooked but in space you're competing against the clock to complete a bunch of mini games and tasks all aimed at preventing your ship from blowing up in space this will be launching on October 13th scorn absolutely would have made the list this game looks phenomenal but YouTube is so flag happy.

nowadays just aggressively demonetizing just about anything even deemed as mildly offensive that is the only reason scorn and me showing scoring gameplay is not happening in this video if you like spooky based horror FPS games check out scorn uh skillup recently did a preview of it which was great looks phenomenal this thing looks good it's scary but it looks good Star Ocean the Divine force is one of the many upcoming Square Enix action RPGs the latest in the Star Ocean franchise this looks pretty cool a tad dated but it is what it is launching on October 27th and then finally the unliving is a dynamic roguelite action RPG this is one of those indie games that's been getting a lot of buzz you play as a necromancer running around with your armies of Undead messing stuff up and uh raising them back this will be launch on October 31st and that pretty much does it for this month's list some great looking games hopefully they turn out good in the end personally I'm most looking forward to Super people Gotham Knights and Marauders although I would be interested in playing just about anything here which is exactly why it's on the list there you go with that we will wrap up today's video thank you so much as always for watching hope you enjoy the content and I'll see you in the next one take it easy
